I got up too early yesterday. I was up at 3:00 am. I couldn’t sleep, and it was really cold. When I finally got up, I went and walked up the mountain and hiked around the farm. yesterday was the basic first day that you would have on vacation, doing some stuff but not a lot.

Today I hiked and went fishing. I still haven’t had lunch and it’s after 2:00! I’ve helped clean stalls also. When I went fishing I had to bring my youngest sister Ellie with me. The water level is really, really low. It’s lower than I’ve ever seen it before. The rock where we normally like to fish from is normally just slightly submerged, but now it isn’t even the slightest bit. We need a new fishing spot and I need a new rod as well. Mine doesn’t cast any longer than fifteen feet, my longest was around thirty. I really need a new one and some more bait, our worms are half dead. I think that the worms have been in the fridge for over a month. It is dusty but nice, I am the head flyswatter. I’ve killed almost a hundred so far since I got here. I like it here and am taking pictures with my camera.
