It is now official!  The Cougars are the #1 team in the Jr. Division.  We beat the Cowboys 19-13 in overtime (sounds familiar) to take first place.  I was targeted twice but didn’t catch either, one was jHere I am running toward the huddle after going out for a pass.ust over my head and the other was nearly picked off so I had to just nail the safety and he dropped it.  I didn’t play much defense but I didn’t get anything even while I was in on D.  However, I did get a tackle off of a pick.  The ball was thrown to another receiver and the CB picked it off but then I teamed up with the coach’s son Ryan Kohl to make the tackle.  The one thing that I wish is that I could play Defense more.  Anyhow, we won and so after next week’s game we will start the playoffs.  Next game is the Tigers, so it should be a fairly easy win.  Maybe I’ll catch something against them this week.  Practice and school tomorrow look to take over my day.  It is going to get cold down here too, 47 degrees is the low tonight.  39 and 34 the next two.  It will be interesting.  Maybe the cold weather will help my play.  Who knows?  I suppose we’ll just have to see, right?  I need to get used to not receiving answers.  Ai ai ai, something else to work on.  Anyhow, it is late and I am tired.  When I add those two things together I get one answer and only one answer.  Bed Time!!

Sorry if I’m incomprehensible, but I’m still recovering from the second blow of lightning in a month.  First I get this really cool 30-something yard touchdown reception (we’re still debating whether it’s 30,32,33,35,36, or 38 yds), and now this.  On Saturday during a 20 - 6 beating of the Bears I caught a 40-something yard touchdown (we’ll probably never agree on whether it was 41 or 46, but that’s besides the point).  This one was better than the first one in three ways.  Allow me to explain how it was better and you will see my point.
